Howdy y'all!!!  (ok, I don't have the drawl but.. anyway)

So moving on.. Today I was chatting with a decent guy on MM.  Things were great until he started asking questions about travel and such.  Fine.  I mentioned that I'm trilingual and can read another.  I speak Spanish, English (duh), Turkish and read Arabic.
Then he said.. Well, I wouldn't have guessed.  What the hell does that mean?

Calm down you say.. ok I did.  And so I asked, "Well, what do you mean by that?"  Now, this is an intelligent man who doesn't want to make me upset. " Well, I'm just meaning that a lot of ladies like you don't think internationally."  Ladies like me.. WHAT?

Of course I took that moment to open his eyes to his own preconceived notions.  He wants to talk further.  I will, why?  Because if I don't, who will?  Rather that I enlighten him than allow him to continue as he is.

JIMMENY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Shaz - Well you know.. you could be right.
I don't think that "new" money is a bad thing.  I haven't had someone act poorly just not respond.  And if they don't, well.. ok.

Now you had a different experience.  Wait.. I never read how that turned out.. My goodness I need to visit your blog... OFF I GO!

Would love to know how the education process is going. It would seem LaNegrita12's person may be capable of learning. Willowwind's
example would seem beyond hope.

there are some very snooty and snobbish men on this site. I rather imagine they are " New Money". Anyone who actively enjoys belittling others is not someone I care to know.

EVERYONE has something of value to contribute to society. Id like to see the uber rich try to manage their lives without all their " help" Some of them couldnt find their way out of a paper bag without assistance.

Sweetie, be very careful.  Be very careful indeed.  If he makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up----report him pronto to Brittany [MM Counselor].

STAY SAFE, FRIEND, STAY SAFE.

Quoting Willowwind

Ohhh, this will be interesting to follow !!  Did he expound upon the "Ladies like you" comment?

I had a similar experience last week.  He has a nice profile, well educated, seemed to be a pleasurable man .... UNTIL ...... (after about 8 min of chatting in IM) he made the statement ..... " Your profile indicates you have 'some college'.  I find it difficult to believe you composed your profile, much less the comments, poetry,  and prose you have posted in your blog, with very  little formal higher education.  Did someone else write it  for you? "   WHAT??????????

I was polite, and offered my insight into the concept of self education and betterment, and, wrote an impromptu poem for him in the IM.  He asked me if I copied and pasted it....... CLICK ...... BLOCK.

I took some lessons  in writing Arabic and Hindu because I love the artistic flow of the scripts.  They are VERY difficult.... especially when you don't speak the language, nor understand the phraseology of it.  I will readily admit, without question, I was, most assuredly, in the pre-pre-school catagory !!! hahahaha ..... But, I loved it.  Believe me, writing in English is like using the big first grade pencils on dotted line paper as compared to the intricate scripts.
And to clarify -  the IM was not the MM ... it was another site.

Willow, if you tell the fellow you are an "AUTODIDACT" and he has no idea what you mean....dump him in the nearest river and move on....

Glad you're continuing the conversation with him so the education can commence. Sometimes I have to shake my head when I read things like this.
