Quoting SaraJo:
The other day I stopped at the Family Dollar on my way to work. As I cruised the aisles looking for a cheap and tasty munchie I noticed al older woman in one of the aisles. She was probably in her late 70's. She moved with strength, no wobbling here. Her hands were tanned, they were large and musclucar; her fingers slightly crooked. They looked like hands that had worked all their life, had worked hard. She turned towards me....ahhh....I saw it. The face. Her skin did not look that weathed for the years it had on it. The eyes were dark and soft, All around her face, the wrinkles at the corner of her mouth, the creases in her forhead...it was the kindest face I think I have ever seen. I saw no anger, disappoint, fatigue or stress. Just the kindest face in the world. As I stood there in awe, totally mesmerized by such a wonderful sight, I felt myself relax. It was though I had entered a warm, safe place by looking at her face. I hope when I am up, up in years I will have developed a face of kindness.
